Hi, I’m Zip! I’m a costumer and cosplayer who’s been sewing for almost 20 years and making my own costumes for nearly as long. Over the years I’ve made over 100 costumes for myself and others, a few of which can be found on my ACP page. Since 2008, I’ve been to more than 100 conventions and events, and staffed or volunteered at more than 60.

In 2008 I helped found NashiCon, and served as its con chair for 5 years. It grew from an attendance of around 200 in 2008 to around 1100 in 2012. NashiCon is the oldest and longest-running anime con in South Carolina.

My day job is in theatre and entertainment. I’ve designed costumes for plays, musicals, and theme park shows, and have helped build costumes for many other productions.
